The short version.

Using Wyxen

Wyxen is free to download and use, for personal or commercial machines, with no licence key and no account. You may not resell it, repackage it, or distribute modified copies.

What it does to your computer

Wyxen changes Windows settings that affect performance, power and startup behaviour. That is the point of it. It creates a System Restore point before its first change of a session and logs everything it writes, but you are running it on your own machine at your own risk.

Wyxen comes with no warranty. It is provided as is. We are not liable for lost data, hardware problems, downtime, or anything else that follows from using it. If that is not an acceptable trade, do not install it.

Benchmarks

Any performance figures published here were measured on the hardware and Windows build listed alongside them. Your results will differ. They are a record of what happened on one machine, not a promise about yours.

Not affiliated with Microsoft

Wyxen is an independent project. Windows is a trademark of Microsoft Corporation, which has no involvement with this software.

Changes

These terms may change. The date at the top says when they last did. Continuing to use Wyxen after a change means accepting it.
